Originally released in 1966 (when Stevie was only 16) as the follow up album to Stevie s second number one hit “Uptight”. By the release of this album Stevie s artistic direction had shifted decidedly away from the “Little Stevie” era, and he can be heard laying the groundwork for the more mature sound that would soon become his trademark.
