Featuring his first major hit “Aquele Abraço” and other classics like “Volks Volkswagen Blue” and “Cérebro Eletrónico,” Gilberto Gil manages to incorporate psychedelic experimentation, blues, rock, samba and post-bossa into a whole much greater than the sum of its parts.
